Lynie Abadilla is excited and grateful to be a part of such an inspiring event. She recently completed a 2 year intensive at the Meisner Technique Studio in San Francisco. She also holds a B.A. in Motion Pictures and Television: Acting from the Academy of Art University. She last appeared in Tatiana Chaterji's IT HAS A FACE as Elena in Bindlestiff Studio's STORIES HIGH XIV and is currently a member of the Meisner Studio.
Josef Anolin is a premier, up-and-coming performer. Josef reflects an eclectic appeal; a product of his melting pot, Bay Area upbringing and Filipino/Japanese American heritage. Onstage he’s known for on-point punditry, stylish substance and a palpable, affable freshness. Melvign is production manager, stage manager, producer, teaching artist, film, industrial, and stage actor based in Oakland. He has performed at SF Sketch Fest, SF Theater Fest, Young Playwright's Foundation, Bay Area One Acts, One Minute Play Festival, Each One Reach One, Magic Theater, and A.C.T. Recent stage management credits include The Anastasio Project (NaKa, EastSide Arts Alliance), Mommy Queerest (Exit Studio), Chasing Mehserle (Z Space), and Tree City Legends Tour.
Ann has been a Bindlestiff supporter, volunteer and resident artist for over 10 years. She is back from a long performing hiatus and is excited to play again! Aside from theater, Ann's passions include portrait photography and MMA. Ann lives in SF with her husband Anthem and 2 amazing pitties, Dozer and Pai.
Ro Ambrosio Birco is a native San Franciscan and is honored to be a part of the community and magic that is Bindlestiff Studio. He has already appeared in five productions, (You Can't Take It With You, The Tempest, Good News, The Love Edition, Stories High XIV). Ro has a B.A. in Music, a B.A. in German from San Francisco State University and a M.A. in Psychological Studies from California Institute of Integral Studies. He is pursuing an M.F.A in acting at Academy of Art University.
Kat Cruz has been involved with theatre for the past 8 years and have simply grown to love it which each new endeavor. She would like to thank Bindlestiff for encouraging and nourishing this passion. Previous roles with Bindlestiff include Claire ("The Last Unicorns") and Jude ("Untethered").
Leigh Ann is a slam poet, model, actress, and artist. She was a part of the San Francisco Slam Team in 2008 and 2009, which placed third in the Nation in 2009. Individually, she was also 2nd in the West Coast Region in 2009. She made her theatre acting debut at Bindlestiff for the 2014 Stories High and is excited to be a part of AMOK and "The Drive to Reseda." Sammy is a dancer, singer, actress, and writer-- in that order. A recent graduate of UC Berkeley and alumna of Main Stacks Competitive Dance Team, Sammy is finding her way as a young performing artivist in the Bay Area arts scene. This past summer, she attended Urban Bush Women's Summer Leadership Institute in New Orleans on scholarship and assisted in the curation of the first ever Cultural Informance Lab 2014 here in the Bay Area.
Melanie Espinueva has been a Bindlestiff supporter and volunteer since 1997, serving on the Board of Directors from 2007 thru 2011. Melanie feels blessed and honored to be working with such a great cast for today's stage reading of Welga. As always, she dedicates this performance to the loving memory of E.
